Terms of Service
The legal agreement between you and Mobius. Please read carefully.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mobius ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you're using Mobius on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing to these terms for that organization. If you don't agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Description of Service
Mobius provides a durable workflow execution platform, including: - APIs for defining and running workflows - A dashboard for monitoring executions - SDKs for TypeScript and Python - Documentation and support resources We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We'll provide reasonable notice for significant changes.
User Accounts
Registration: You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Account Types: We offer individual and organization accounts. Organization administrators can manage members and permissions. One Account Per Person: Each individual should have only one account. Sharing account credentials is prohibited. Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Mobius.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Mobius to: - Violate any laws or regulations - Infringe on intellectual property rights - Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems - Interfere with or disrupt the Service - Send spam or unsolicited communications - Engage in cryptocurrency mining - Store or transmit illegal content - Scrape or collect data without permission - Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Your Content and Data
Ownership: You retain ownership of all code, data, and content you upload to Mobius ("Your Content"). License to Mobius: You grant Mobius a limited license to use Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service. This includes storing, processing, and displaying Your Content. Responsibility: You're responsible for Your Content. Don't upload content you don't have rights to use. Backup: While we maintain backups, you're responsible for maintaining your own copies of important data.
API Usage
Rate Limits: API usage is subject to rate limits based on your plan. We may throttle or block requests that exceed limits. API Keys: Keep your API keys confidential. You're responsible for all usage under your keys. Fair Use: Don't abuse the API in ways that degrade service for others. Changes: We may update the API. We'll provide reasonable notice for breaking changes and maintain backward compatibility when practical.
Payment Terms
Free Tier: Our free tier has usage limits. Exceeding limits may result in throttling or require upgrading. Paid Plans: Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Upgrades and Downgrades: You can change plans at any time. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Refunds: We don't offer refunds for partial months, but you can cancel anytime. Taxes: Prices don't include taxes. You're responsible for applicable taxes. Late Payment: We may suspend service for unpaid invoices after 30 days.
Intellectual Property
Our IP: Mobius, our logo, and the Service are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without permission. Feedback: If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use it without compensation or attribution. Open Source: Some parts of Mobius may use open-source software. Those components are subject to their respective licenses.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We don't guarantee that: - The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free - The Service will meet your specific requirements - Results obtained will be accurate or reliable - Any errors will be corrected You use the Service at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: Mobius shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mobius and its employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: - Your use of the Service - Your Content - Your violation of these terms - Your violation of any third-party rights
Termination
By You: You can cancel your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting support. By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account for: - Violation of these terms - Non-payment - Fraudulent activity - Extended inactivity (after notice) Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may delete your data after a reasonable period. Provisions that should survive termination (like limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution: Before filing a formal dispute, contact us at legal@mobius.dev. We'll try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Venue: Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California. Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement: These terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mobius. Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision doesn't waive our right to do so later. Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these terms. We may assign ours in connection with a merger or acquisition.
