Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Mobius work coordination platform.

Welcome to Mobius. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mobius work coordination platform, including our web application, HTTP API, client SDKs, worker protocol, webhooks, and any associated software and websites (collectively, the “Services”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mobius (“Mobius,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
Mobius is a work coordination platform for mixed teams of humans, systems, and AI agents. We provide durable automations, a worker protocol for plugging in customer-controlled code, and the operational surfaces needed to run them in production.
2. Account creation and access
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms to create an account and use the Services.
Your Mobius account
- To access the Services, you must create an account (“Account”).
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete Account information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials and API keys.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your Account, including activity by workers and agents acting on your behalf.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Account or credentials by emailing support@mobiusops.ai.
Organizational access
If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization:
- You represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
- Your Account may be associated with your organization's Mobius organization and projects.
- Your organization's administrators may have the ability to access, configure, and control your Account.
3. Use of Services
Permitted use
You may use the Services only in accordance with these Terms for legitimate business purposes.
Prohibited uses
You may not:
- Use the Services to develop a competing work coordination, automation orchestration, or agent runtime product.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Services.
- Use the Services for any illegal purpose, to harass others, or to facilitate unlawful activity.
- Share Account credentials or API keys.
- Abuse, overload, or disrupt the Services, including through denial-of-service activity or deliberate rate-limit evasion.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other customers' organizations, or other users' accounts.
- Use the Services to run automations or agents that violate third-party rights or applicable law, including generating unlawful content or performing unauthorized actions against third-party systems.
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Services or their output to third parties except as expressly permitted.
- Use the Services in any way that could harm Mobius's reputation or the reliability of the platform for other customers.
4. Data and content
Your data
- You retain ownership of all information you submit to the Services (“Customer Data”), including automation definitions, run inputs and outputs, worker configuration, and messages.
- You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Services.
- You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit Customer Data to the Services and to authorize the processing described in these Terms.
Generated content
- The Services may generate outputs, including AI-assisted outputs, based on your inputs and configuration. You receive a license to use such outputs for your internal business purposes.
- AI-generated outputs may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and validating outputs before relying on them for critical decisions or actions.
- You are responsible for ensuring that any outputs you publish, distribute, or act upon comply with applicable law and third-party rights.
Customer-configured integrations
- When your organization configures an integration with a third-party service, you authorize Mobius to transmit data to and receive data from that service on your behalf.
- You are responsible for reviewing the terms and privacy policies of third-party services you connect.
- You are responsible for the lawful basis of any data you cause the Services to transmit on your behalf.
5. Subscription and payment
Fees
- You agree to pay all applicable fees for the Services based on your selected subscription tier.
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
- We may change our fees with 30 days' notice.
- Usage-based fees may apply based on your subscription tier, including for compute, storage, and API usage.
Subscription terms
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
- You may cancel at any time through your account settings.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- Enterprise agreements may have different cancellation terms.
Payment
- You must provide valid payment information.
- We may suspend Services for non-payment.
- You are responsible for all applicable taxes.
API and worker usage
If you use our HTTP API, client SDKs, or worker protocol, you must:
- Use only documented endpoints and methods.
- Implement proper authentication, including secure storage of API keys and service account credentials.
- Comply with rate limits and usage quotas for your subscription tier.
- Not attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or tenant isolation.
- Ensure that any application, worker, or agent using the Services complies with these Terms.
- Notify us immediately of any security vulnerabilities or unauthorized access you become aware of.
6. Privacy and security
Data protection
- We maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Customer Data.
- Our processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Security practices
- You must implement reasonable security practices to prevent unauthorized access to your Account, API keys, and workers.
- You must notify us immediately of any security incident related to your Account at support@mobiusops.ai.
- API and worker access requires proper authentication and should be secured according to industry standards.
7. Intellectual property
Our rights
- We retain all rights to the Services, including all intellectual property rights.
- You may not use our trademarks or branding without our written permission.
- Our automation engine, worker protocol, and platform technology are proprietary.
Your rights
- You retain all rights to your Customer Data.
- We may use your feedback and suggestions to improve the Services without compensation to you.
- You own the automation definitions, prompts, and agent configurations you create within the platform.
8. Suspension and enforcement
- If we become aware of violations of these Terms, we will notify you and request correction.
- We may immediately suspend your access if we reasonably believe suspension is needed to protect the Services, other customers, or third parties.
- We may suspend access for suspected unauthorized use, security threats, or violations of data usage restrictions.
- Suspension will be lifted when violations are corrected to our satisfaction.
- Repeat or severe violations may result in permanent termination of your Account.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Disclaimers
The Services and all content, including outputs generated by or through the Services, are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, Mobius and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers (collectively, “Mobius Parties”) expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, security, accuracy, and non-infringement.
- Any warranties about the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, or completeness of the Services or their outputs.
- Any warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Any warranties regarding the results that may be obtained from use of the Services, including outputs produced by automated or AI-assisted automations.
- Any warranties implied by course of dealing, course of performance, or trade usage.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Mobius Parties be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation:
- Damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, or data.
- Damages arising from business, operational, or strategic decisions made based on outputs of the Services.
- Damages related to actions taken by workers or agents operating in connection with the Services.
- Damages related to interruption of business.
- Damages related to privacy or security breaches not caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- Any other intangible losses arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Services.
The Mobius Parties' total aggregate liability for all claims related to the Services shall be limited to the greater of: (a) the amount paid by you to Mobius for use of the Services in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $500 USD.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Mobius Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, and fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:
- Your use or misuse of the Services.
- Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
- Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights.
- Any Customer Data or configuration you submit to the Services.
- Any actions taken by workers, agents, or integrations you configure or authorize.
- Any products or services you develop, offer, or make available using the Services.
10. Export control and compliance
- You represent and warrant that you will comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations.
- You will not use the Services in any country or territory where such use would violate applicable laws.
- You will not use the Services for any activities subject to international sanctions or embargoes.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with all applicable privacy and data protection laws.
11. Term and termination
- These Terms remain in effect while you use the Services.
- We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services for violations of these Terms.
- Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Services and may no longer access Customer Data through the Services.
- Sections related to payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limitations survive termination.
12. General provisions
Changes to Terms
- We may modify these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms on our website.
- Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Governing law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
- Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
